I’ve been playing Magic the Gathering since 1995.
I bought my first cards at a garage sale. It was a Starter Deck of Revised (3rd edition), and I’m still playing with the Vesuvan Doppleganger that came in that pack. I live in Cohoes, New York, and love gathering with my friends to play Magic! I played Magic while getting my English degree and my teaching degree at SUNY Oneonta. I continued to play while getting my Masters in English from SUNY Albany, and I haven’t ever stopped. When I’m not Magictating, I’m spending time with my wife, daughter, and two small dogs. I’ve been an English teacher for the last 18 years, and I’ve only got 15 years left until I can retire to play casual Commander/EDH Magic full-time!
